No problems with this motherboard. Product needs BIOS 1.9L or 2.0L to properly run VMWare under Linux. Hardware sensors work properly with lm_sensors. Serial ATA works in 2.4 (libata patched) or 2.6 kernel. RAID not tested due to lack of disks.

Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.8.1-10mdk
Distribution: Mandrake 10.1

This board is running well on Linux.
One real gotcha is that the SATA is only supported in raid configuration, the software raid in the bios. Since there is no current driver for the Promise raid this makes the SATA useless. Linux does recognize the disks, and can use them, but on heavy I/O it will run into timeouts and simply lockup. The Soltek documentation states clearly that only SATA Raid is supported (I just didn't believe that to be true, but it turned out to be true :-(.
If you want to use this board with Linux, just buy a Sl-75FRN2-L without SATA. If you want to use SATA, buy a seperate controller, or just buy another board.
