Would you recommend the product? yes | Price you paid? (in USD): $200.00 | Rating: 10

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.21-4.EL
Distribution: RedHat Enterprise WS 3

the only thing i had to do was:

modprobe usbcore
modprobe usb-storage
modprobe hid
modprobe usb-uhci

and everything worked fine. if you already have USB working, then you should be able to format the drive without any trouble. i ran

mkfs.ext3 -v -c /dev/sda1

and everything worked smoothly!

great product!
