Worked perfectly out of the box.

set up as primary (master) on IDE2, burned using K3b 0.11.14, Qt 3.3.2

Through K3B cd burning did have one hitch, copying cd's required TAO chosen, otherwise all songs would play as one long song, which is more than likely my inexperience than anything. Copying DVD's worked fine, so too did creating a variety of data and music cd's.

*note - this device can also be firmware hacked to dual layer.
