Description: Great 80gb ATA drive. Have Mandrake 10.0 installed on it, runs fine. Cheap too :)

Ran Fedora Core 1 (Kernel 2.4) for about a montha and half).

Upgraded to Fedora Core 2 about 2 months ago. No problems with either distro.

Distribution: RH8, RH9, FC3, FC4


Have two WD800BB drives installed. Added both myself. They work seamlessly in the above distributions while hanging off a Promise Technology 20269 (rev 02) IDE controller plugged into a PCI slot of this Asus K7V motherboard. They are correctly recognized, partitioned and set up during clean installation of these distros.
