Description: Mono laser USB/parallel printer from Samsung. Cheap enough and good enough for home office use. Cartridges can be re-filled very easily (designed in function- thx Samsung).
Samsung provide a CUPS compatible driver and their own installation thingy...stick with the CUPS install routine but use the Samsung driver.
Large paper tray and envelope compatible.
What can I say? It prints :-)

No, it's a 1750 and it works just fine under CUPS. I don't even bother with the Samsung driver now....the HP 4L foomatic driver builtin to CUPS works fine for this printer and most other printers ever built as well.
