The only thing that doesn't work 100% would be the mobility Radeon graphics controller(which has a few workarounds that I'm testing to see if I can't get DRI working).
ACPI is important to get enabled on this laptop, the secret is to use "nolapic acpi=on" appended to your kernel boot strings. Make sure nolapic is before any acpi or apm definitions or it'll fail. Power control works great as does cpu throttling. Battery reporting is 100% accurate.
The onboard glidepoint mouse is very sensitive, but I have an external USB mouse that's much more forgiving on the hand cramps.
I've never tested the modem from linux.
DVD works, CD-RW works.

the wireless 802.11G card only works with ndiswrapper.
