Coming in the box Ulead_7.0 VideoStudio (give it to you foes under windows you dont care it ;) )
1 firewire cable (firewire-->dv)

3 ports external
1 port internal (shared with 1 external)

Pluged in, build kernel with firewire support and everything work great. I try it with kernel 2.6.7.
