If you test WEP, WPA, or the 802.11a functionality be sure to post your results!

I've played around with several wireless cards, but this is the first one that worked almost out of the box.

this was all it took:

$ (insert a bit of googling here)
# USE="pcmcia" emerge madwifi-driver
# ifconfig ath0 up
# iwconfig ath0 essid NETWORK
# iwconfig ath0 auto
# iwconfig ath0 channel 6
# dhcpcd ath0
$ ping www.havenite.net

I spoke too soon when I posted this.

It constantly disconnects. It'll work for about 3 seconds and then hang for 15 and then pick up again.

This seems to be a great card fro regular use. Very respectable sensitivity. Don't know the exact specs on this device. I have been working with WEP using this and patched drivers included with BT2. I haven't had any luck with it so far. Everything seems to go fine with aireplay. Except when ARP replay finds a suitable packet and begins to send. I don't see any new IVs being created. Using tcpdump and wireshark I can verify that indeed packets are being sent but seems to have no impact on AP. IF I find a fix I'll post. If anyone else seems to be having the same problem. Please post!
