Description: This card is very well supported by Prism54, which was installed by default by my distro (SuSE 9.1).
However, it took me a long time to get it working---probably because I missed something in the HOWTO's I've been reading and my little hardware knowledge---I couldn't get it working. When listing the card with 'iwconfig' it kept on saying "NOT READY!".
Only after checking /var/log/messages I noticed the kernel message:
prism54: request_firmware() failed for 'isl3890'

I ended up on http://prism54.org/~mcgrof/firmware/ where I downloaded 1.0.4.3.arm, copied it to /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware and renamed it to isl3890. Since then the card works smoothly.

Ensure you download the firmware from http://www.prism54.org and follow the very simple instructions. If the folder doesn't exist just create it.
