I recieved this printer for free about 2 months ago, so I'm not exactly sure how old it is. Anyway, it is by far the best printer I have used! It is automatically detected and configured in Fedora Core 1, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. For Windows 9x, a simple driver is all that is needed. The print quality is excellent, it's fast, great on toner (the toner is over a year old and was in active service right before it was given to me). My only complaint is that it has a (loud) audible fan, but my computer's noise makes it seem silent. If you need a cheap but fast and all-around great laser printer, this is the one!
