Description: last post seemed to have been swallowed: try again---
16X cd-burner and dvd-rom.
shift jumper from right to left set of pins. no data sheet provided, so i guess this shifts it from master to slave.
plug it in and see if your system recongnizes it or not. if not, shift the jumper. standard disk accessory install.
a little slow, advertised as 192m memory, but for 25 .bucks from webegg.com and 2 minutes of hook up, you can't complain.

installed in a Compaq S5000 ich4/i810 pentium celeron, running SuSE 9.1 Professional. not one single bug or problem using K3b set at 20x, or with the dvd read. this little thing snarls like a buzzsaw and Rocks all day.
