Description: This camera provided great 5 MP camera for less than $400. Many options for shooting and great ability to take pictures in near darkness. Took many pics of a nighttime parade in Palm Springs in April 2004 w/o flash. Very large LCD screen 1.8'' bright in full daylight. Turn off & shoot thru optical view finder saves batteries.
Provided with battery & charger & 32 MB CF card. Can take Type 1 & 2 cards. Recomended highly, recognized by GIMP no problem.

Kernel (uname -r):
Distribution: Fedora Core 1

Works fine with Digikam in KDE and Digital Camera tool in Gnome. Did not require any additional configuration at all.
