Would you recommend the product? yes | Price you paid? (in USD): None indicated | Rating: 8

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.2-2
Distribution: RH 7.1

The OPTi 931 works as well on RH 7.1. "Antique", I know, but ya works with what ya gots.

Card specifics: BTC 1817 DS ISA card, requires pnpdump and manually editing /etc/isapnp.conf, so make sure you've got your settings from windoze first.

Not perfect for sound purists, but good enough for the average listener.
