It's a hot-rod, literally. It's fast, but the CPU runs at 60 C and the keyboard is too hot to touch during long emerge sessions.
Running Gentoo with 2.6.7 kernel, X.org and udev. The touchpad is not detected and I have not tried to use the in-screen camera or the modem. Everything else works well.

No problems installing. The realtek gigabit lan connectin was recongnized with no trouble. Setting up 3d acceleration gave me the same problems that everyone with a ATI card has been having. No luck whatsoever with the extras - built in web cam, card readers, built in wireless. I use a Proxim Orinoco Classic Gold Card, and now have wireless working. The problems with the proprietary hardware don't bother me much. This laptop has servered me very well.
