Description: Easily obtainable, and relatively cheap industrial grade laptop, usually 4-6G hdd, but I currently have a 20G in it. I had some minor problems with the crystal labs sound card, but was able to get everything to work using mandrake 10 Has available port replecator, which also works compeletly under mandrake 10. One can be bought for aprox $300 U.S.

I too have a 380Z. I have run Fedora Core 1 & 2, Suse 9.1, Slack 10, and Blag on it with sound being only difficulty. Slack and Blag seem to run the smoothest. The system I use has 96 megs of ram and has been very good. I wouldn't call the sound set up a major problem as the fix can be found on these forums or by an easy google search.
