Had trouble with sleep mode: it wouldn't come back up from sleep. Needs hdparm -S 0 /dec/hdX in startup scripts.

Worked flawlessly as soon as I remembered that SCSI support would need to be built into the kernel rather than left as a module if I wanted to boot off a SCSI disk.

Very impressed by the write speed when I transferred gigs of files from my old IDE hdd; Firefox is about 50% faster to load up; and even Doom3 savegames load up more rapidly; so there's noticeable speed improvements over an IDE disk.
