Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.26
Distribution: Slackware 9.1

This mother board is part of a system that I ordered from Southwest Technology over a year ago. At the time it was the ultimate Linux box for me. It came with RedHat 8 and windoz 2000 preinstalled. 2000 ran perfect on it, but I eliminated it some time ago. Many Linux distributions have been evaluated on this system, but Slackware is my favorite. Slackware and all other distros install fast and easy. I have a SB Live and USRobotics modem, and dont use the onboard sound chip. There have been absolutly no problems with this system with any distro. The Video card is ATI Radeon 7000 which works perfect with everything. This system was initially intended for my learning about Linux, and it has been perfect. Kernel compiling is a fast process. Loading Slack is a less than 30 minute job.

Kernel (uname -r): 2.6
Distribution: PCLinuxOS

A great board, with ports galore, and extremely reliable. Running PCLinuxOS as a combined LAN server and workstation.
