Description: This modem has a 25-pin serial connector which you use with an adapter cable for regular 9-pin serial. It's a good old external hardware faxmodem with a volume control and dip switches for custom settings.

These might be hard to find now but you can't beat an external hardware modem for compatibility since you just dial the serial port. kppp and RedHat's internet connection wizard worked perfetly with it. I never tried the fax capabilities.

Mine works well. Can get any connection over 26400 dialup connection is suspect. Joe
