Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.22-14-generic
Distribution: Kubuntu 7.10

OK, this is a bit of an antique laptop now but it works quite well with kubuntu 7.10 out of the box. Haven't tested the modem yet. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is the "mouse" wheel under the touchpad but since you can use the top and right hand edges of the touch pad to scroll it isn't a problem and it does still function as a middle mouse button.
