A REALLY old laptop (4MB of RAM, 200MB harddrive, 486SX 33Mhz processor, no CD-ROM drive, cost extra because the LCD screen was color-enabled, but it does have Type III PCMCIA) that I got for free by someone who was too sick of it. It works well with SmallLinux (for that distro, 200MB of harddisk space will get you pretty far), and it even works well with compilers. Comes with a lot of preinstalled junk, but thats not hard to get rid of. Havent tried serial port networking, but I plan to.
