Description: Nice 4 megapixel high-end non-SLR. Excellent lens. Got it for US$500 used on Amazon (new might be about US$1500). Huge LCD screen. Camera is large and boxy, looks like an old-fashioned twin-lens. Fast response time (4 pictures / sec, apparently).

Fully USB mass-storage compliant.

Plug n' automount with Fedora Core 2 is possible by adding a line to /etc/updfstab.conf.default within the 'device camera {}' block that says simply 'match hd LEICA' (just look at the file and it will make sense).

After adding that line, a 'Camera' icon will be visible under the 'Computer' icon on the desktop. This 'Camera' icon is the already-mounted Leica camera, seen as any other USB mass storage device. Worked like a charm.
