Description: a nice portable with:
touchpad mouse (working)
nice vga=773 screen
one touch boutons (never tested)
Lan card (working), dial up (never tested, not supported by mandrake)
PCMIA (never tested), CDRW-DVDROM (recording working, reading too, DVD nevertested)
Three USBs, all working
HDA 20G, a marvel
Sound, choppy, it's an alsa problem
ACPI, works under windoze, kernel problem under linux (not supported, not found in kernel)
Processor: i658, 1200 mghertz
My rating for linux compatibility (****1/2)
Linux never gave me a hard time with compatibility, never scraped my hardware:)
