Description:
|
ATX, Integrated IDE/Sound, AGP 4X, ATA33-ATA100, 3x PC100/PC133 for up to 1.5 GIG of 3.3v SDRAM, Socket A but uncertain max CPU support, 2x USB 2.0, 2X 16550 UART.
Per owners manual, chipset is: "Via KT133 - VT8638A and VT82C686B".
AC'97 Full Duplex with independent sample rate for record and playback.
Board has worked fine with the following distributions:
Mandrake 8.0-8.2, 9.1; Red Hat 7.1, Fedora Core 1, SuSe 9.0 Pro, Slackware 9.0 and 9.1, Archlinux 0.2-0.4, Peanut 9.2, Debian 3.0.0 (Woody).
Note: MFR is not certain of what rev mobo supports what max CPU, claims all revs of mobo support all CPUs; this review based on my using an Athlon Tbird 1.0 GHz in rev A+ mobo, the manual claims only to support Athlon up to 1.3 GHz; PC retailer claims 2.2 GHz work fine.... YMMV.
