Description: This is a nice mid-range digital camera. It uses Memory Stick for storage and a USB cable to plug into your PC. It can take short MPEG vieos too. Photo quality is very nice, I usually use the standard 1290x960 resolution. Comes with a bettery charger and rechargeable batteries (standard AA). Pretty good digital zoom.

Would you recommend the product? yes | Price you paid? (in USD): $80.00 | Rating: 10

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.22
Distribution: Fedora Core 1

I plugged the USB cable in, turned on the camera, and it was immediately mounted for me, along with a nice desktop icon appearing. So in this distro it works perfectly.

This is a good 2.0 megapixel camera. I replaced the somewhat useless 8MB memory stick with a 128MB unit and now it is very usable.
