Description: This is a 2.2 megapixel digital camera. It has 8MB of built-in storage which stores about 10 images at 1800x1200. There is a slot for a CF card. It can take pictures at 1800x1200 and 900x600. The is a small, 1.8 inch, color viewfinder. Recorded images can be displayed on the viewfinder. It has Auto Flash, Fill Flash, and Red Eye. This camera requires 2 AA batteries. The DX3500 is also capable of video out.

This is a very good beginner/novice digital camera. It has the right amount of features and takes excellent pictures. However, the picture quality diminishes in low light.

I use gPhoto2 from the command line with this camera and it works very well.
