I'm running an Athlon XP 2400+ with 256M and a Maxtor 40G, 7200 rpm hd with 2M buffer.
The only problem running linux with this board is there's no decent support for the onboard video, unless you're running kernel 2.6 and XFree86 4.4. I finally just disabled it and installed an Nvidia AGP card.
I've tried FC1, Suse 9.0, and Slackware 9.1 on this machine. All three correctly detected everything except the video.
