This is the Sotec (now called Avartec) 3120x, a very affordable ultralight laptop. The basics:
12.1" screen
1.2 Ghz Celeron processor
30 GB hard drive
DVD/CD-RW
Graphics: SiS 630 chipset, capable of 1024x768 & 24 bit color
Ports: VGA out, 1 PCMCIA, ethernet, winmodem, and 3 USB 1.1
Battery Life: about 2.5 hours
I currently have Mandrake 9.2 running, but I have successfully installed Gentoo (from stage 1) and Debian (via Knoppix). Any installation with hardware detection found every component just fine (my biggest problem has been the Netgear wireless card). If you are looking for a small, light laptop that runs linux, and don't want to pay an arm and a leg, I highly recommend this machine. Newer models have slightly better hardware specs and are still affordable.
