This product is fully compatible with Linux as soon as you use a 2.6 kernel (especially for the TriFlex EIDE controller). Otherwise, it won't use DMA for disk access (which is not a problem if you use the integrated SCSI controller that is fully recognised with 2.4 kernel).
For newer disks (e.g. 120 GB), the BIOS will display a "disk error". It won't cause any trouble, just press F1 key to go on. You may have to download a software from your hard disk manufacturer to force the hard disk to use a less powerful DMA mode.
