The onboard 3COM Gigabit LOM (3C940 ... aka 3C2000) can be a REAL pain. I disabled onboard audio since I have a Sound Blaster Audigy MP3 card... so I am not sure of the compatibility of the onboard sound. The motherboard's AI fine tuning and overclocking are real nice... and take the edge off the pain of dealing with the onboard LAN.
