Description: XFree86 supports basic 2D accelerated server.
Gatos drivers support XVideo extensions, useful for full screen hardware assisted video. Video capture is supported in both 2.4 and 2.6 kernels, although the kernel modules still need more testing and debugging. 3D acceleration supported with DRI, but running DRI and video capture at the same time is not recommended ;-) TV-Out is said to be working with CVS versions of the gatos drivers, but I haven't tested it. It's probably the best ATI card as far as features working with open source drivers.
