A good flatbed scanner. Quite large by todays
standards. It scans slightly larger than A4/letter
sizes. The stepper motor is VERY noisy at 1200dpi.

Although not listed in the compatibility list for
SANE, there is a sourceforge project with a 4300C
patch. You must apply the patch to the SANE
source and compile.
