available through Intel, but at last try (kernel
2.4.22 on Mandrake 9.1), they lost throughput and
hung up less than five seconds ...
It works very well with Smartlink softmodem
drivers (www.smlink.com) in ALSA mode and ALSA
driver snd_intel8x0m.
Download Smartlink Linux drivers, compile them
with ALSA supp ...

External serial hardware modem, Dick Smith 'own'
brand, with Intel chipset.
Just plugged in, was recognised, and works well.
