 i have the promise fasttrak 20270 series, and it work straight away after plugging it onto my ecs p4s5a motherboard. The device connecting to it is 1x 200gb WD jb and 1x 250gb WD jb series hdd running on span(jbod) mode.

 works straight out of the box for me also, it reads and burn dvds, so far i have tried it wif +r and -r dvd, but there are all 4x speed. both types work, the dvd disc brand i tested it wif is "excel" and "princo" no problem wif either

 I gave it a 9 because i did not get the remote control to work(obviousily) and also the print sharing did not work. Other then that by installing bluez-libs and bluez-utils i was able to connect and transfer stuff to and from my k700i usign the obex system
