 I have the silver modem using PPPoA. I tried configuring it in the past but gave me alot of headache so I demped it, until recently. I read the documentation here :: http://speedtouch.sourceforge.net/ and got it working in 30 minutes only! works like a charm now. I only needed the following links :: Original website http://www.speedtouchdsl.com Linux Opensource http://speedtouch.sourceforge.net/ HowTo http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/*checkout*/speedtouch/speedtouch/doc-linux/howto/SpeedTouch-HOWTO-en.html?rev=HEAD * You'll need to get the firmware from the original website. I gave it a 10

 Some minor problems with 'umount' Had to use :: mount -o loop ... in order to avoid unmount issues. Corrupted the drive once because of unsuccessful unmounts. (never happened to my friends; they also have the same drive & use it over Linux) Great drive
