Not a bad drive, formatted with the NTFS file system. Transfers from the disk were about 16-18MB/s. No setup required other than plugging it in. No power button so the only way to turn it off is to unplug it.

I haven't tried the USB connection, but with the ethernet connection and Mandrake's wizard, connecting was a breeze. SuSE 9.2 also has no probs with this setup Baldrick

HP is one of the few manufacturers that are committed to developing Linux drivers for all their printers, scanners etc. To this end, the support and quality of the required drivers is excellent. Must see links are the HP OfficeJet Linux driver home page and HP Linux Driver Project. They contain all the documentation, software and links needed to get the PSC1350 up and running. All it takes is some reading and the required packages.
