The Apple's line of mp3 players are always great music players...on Windows. The iPod Touch is almost completely incompatible with Linux. Upon plugging into the computer, all that appears is an "Apple iPod" device that Linux thinks has pictures in it but is really just an empty directory. Furthermore, the main program that works with iPods, iTunes, cannot install on Linux, even with Wine. The only option is to jailbreak it, which is a big inconvenience since you need to do it on a Windows computer, and mess with the software versions before jailbreaking, etc. In other words, it is a great mp3 player, but not necessarily Linux.

Very nice motherboard. Works perfectly with the remainder of my hardware. Only problem is that Foxconn's supplied software to control the overclocking and fan speeds only supports Windows, though I am sure there is some third-party software I might be able to find.

The keys depress in far, unlike a laptop keyboard, yet the keys are soft and, as indicated by the product name, ergonomically curved, making typing very easy. Everything works in Linux, including all the functions keys. For the mouse, nothing to complain. Both buttons and the scroll wheel (and the scroll wheel's button) work fine.

Very good processor. Unfortunately it does not come with virtualization support, which is a hardware deficiency more than a compatibility problem. As far as working with the OS goes, it is great and relatively cheap. However, you might want to upgrade if you need more.

Good printer, worked almost instantly using CUPS. Running into some problems with sharing the printer to other Linux computers (have not tried sharing to Windows yet), but I believe that is more of a configuration problem that a printer problem. Unfortunately, I cannot get memory cards mounted, though you can still use the printer's direct memory card photo printing feature.
