 never had a problem using cs46x drivers with either oss or alsa. excellent sound quality.

 a really great mouse -- especially with rechargeable batteries b/c it goes through about 2 AA every month. it has a nice weight to it, so it doesn't feel like a cheap plastic lightweight mouse but is much more solid. the buttons press easily, and they are quieter than most other mice i have used. overall a very smooth ergonomic feel. it also has a PS/2 adapter so you don't have to use USB.

 with the forcedeth reverse engineered ethernet driver, this is a great linux motherboard. without forcedeth it's still excellent, but you'll have to taint the kernel with the nvidia drivers. likewise if you'll be using the onboard sound. i give it an 8 out of 10 b/c of needing the nvidia stuff.

 runs great, overclocked to 2.25GHz. stable with folding at home for many months. no linux compatability or stability problems noted.
