It has one quirk with USB Mass Storage: When first plugged in, the partition table cannot be read for a few seconds. This causes a problem when using devfs, because the partition will not show up until you wait a few seconds, then touch the device (/dev/discs/disc#/disc). I set up a small script that will automatically touch the device when registered:
/sbin/touchdisk:
#!/bin/sh
devname=$1
partname=${devname%/*}/part1
echo "$devname $partname"
tries=30
go() {
while [ -a "$devname" ] && ! [ -a "$partname" ] && [ $tries -gt 0 ]; do
touch "$devname"
sleep 1;
tries=$((tries-1))
done
}
go&
And in /etc/devfsd.conf:
REGISTER ^scsi/.*/disc EXECUTE /sbin/touchdisk /dev/$devname

Excellent support, works with usb-storage driver.
The player itself is very good, supporting OGG Vorbis, MP3, WAV, and ASF (WMA). It supports M3U playlists, with some quirks (pathnames must be relative, CRLF line endings, backslashes).
Supports recording to MP3 or WAV (no integer-only vorbis encoder yet) with internal or external mic, or from line-in.
Includes a remote control with backlit display.

It wasn't very hard to get DRI working for this card once I found the proper AGP drivers. 3D acceleration works just fine, at a decent rate.

I would highly recommend this card as it has a hardware mixer, allowing more than one app to access it at one time.
