Without major trouble, Debian runs.
USB netinstall.
Minor torubles include,
1. need firmware-realtek
2. need firmware-linux-nonfree
3. need fglrx, without this, X kicks in but display goes wrong.
4. if dual head (works well with xrandr), two display connectors are too near for several cables.

Memory card slot stopped working. (I have not used it for a while)
Workaround is:
sudo su -l
echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/rescan

Comes with ubuntu. (with rsync, avahi, openssh-client and other programs)
It has a terminal program, so everything is under control. Once openssh-server is installed, no problem at all.
For some reason, flash does not work with firefox.
SoftStylus (stylus pen input, either keyboard or handwriting) is fairly good.
Happy Penguins!

Debian (squeeze x86-64) is installed via network using USB stick.
No major trouble. Sound does not work without parameter "model=3stack-dig"
As I made headless system, I have not checked X server. Make sure you have USB keyboard ready.
Good penguin land.

No trouble installing Debian using USB memory stick. (no need to use optical drive.)
Almost everything is straightforward, intuitive, except for sound.
Sound needs kernel parameter (3stack-dig, 3stack-6ch or 3stack-6ch-dig) for snd-hd-intel, I have not fully studied yet. auto does not work.
Good penguin land.
added:
64 bit Debian squeeze works.
