No, it's a 1750 and it works just fine under CUPS. I don't even bother with the Samsung driver now....the HP 4L foomatic driver builtin to CUPS works fine for this printer and most other printers ever built as well.

So long as your USB setup works then sane will detect this scanner and it will work. Sometimes my scanner needs to be asked twice to do things but that's true under XP as well so I think it's just getting a bit old (had it since it was the newest release from Epson).

This is the LS version of the Audigy which is a completely different chipset to EVERY OTHER Audigy & SB that Creative ever produced. Yeah, it works but just. Really, go buy any other Audigy or go back to a SBLive! Compared to the gzillion simultaneous channels that i run under an old Live!, this Audigy LS's pathetic channel count had it returned to the shop on the same day that I bought it.

Just to add that the Linuxant Centrino Wifi driver works like a charm. It'll cost you $20 but it works. http://www.linuxant.com/company/ Enjoy

Based on the CS4630 soundchip and provides excellent reproduction in RCA/jack or optical/cable SPDIF output. ALSA version 1.0.5 with module snd-card-cs46xx works very nicely. Breakout box is a bit clunky and often one of the solder joints on the headphone output gives way (any easy fix) but it does save crawling around the back of teh box to plug things in. Make very sure that you install with the right kernel link otherwise you may get odd results. Use ./configure --with-kernel=/usr/src/linux-x.x.x to force the issue.
