Wow, I must say that for a major update/upgrade, XFCE 4.4 has not really gotten that much fanfare in the forums. Maybe is because most people were downloading CVS versions up to the final code and are not all that impressed. Myself I like to wait for the final code to be released. I'm very excited about the new features in XFCE 4.4. Now I just need the *buntu keepers for make the 4.4 version available in the repositories.

    Not a lot people use it because majority are still Windows users that have to use KDE. People still have not learn that KDE is bloated and slow. I use XFce4 (version 4.2.3.2). Gentoo developers for XFce4 is working on version 4.4. Right now it is hard mask. I could install it but it may not work well or install correctly.
