Slackware 12: usbboot.img

Awesome feature! I tried the usbboot.img to install Slackware 12 and it worked perfectly. I had already downloaded the /slackware folder to the winxp partition, so using my usb stick was perfect choice for installation. No wasted CDs or DVDs.

Where is the XFCE 4.4 welcoming party?

Wow, I must say that for a major update/upgrade, XFCE 4.4 has not really gotten that much fanfare in the forums. Maybe is because most people were downloading CVS versions up to the final code and are not all that impressed. Myself I like to wait for the final code to be released. I'm very excited about the new features in XFCE 4.4. Now I just need the *buntu keepers for make the 4.4 version available in the repositories.

Slackware blog: begin

I'm moving my blogger blog entries to this blog. My company blocks a lot of links with the word "blog" in them.

This blog will allow me to make entries during the day when I'm at work. I have no time for computers after work hours. LOL
