I spent many hours building a system for a professor of music at the U of I Ilinois. the Fedora distro is the one that planet ccrma uses for there repo. and they build all the very nice multimedia aps with the core.
I come to the conclusion that the big IBM. the one that got Bill Gates going has really put a hold on the FC.
I still do not understand why Stanford would use a system to build all the cool development music multimedia stuff on a distro that refuses to allow you to play...
